Blog 18: Who Needs To Be Seen, Heard and Understood?

This need to be acknowledged is a real thing … a real longing and a real sorrow when it isn’t fulfilled. And we drag that need with us, through us, wrap our whole world in it, until … it’s no longer real. I’m here to tell you - to actually remind you and myself - of who we are and to therefore, act accordingly. I don’t know what archetype you most identify with but I’ll introduce myself to you as the Cosmic Priestess - a combination of the Queen of Wands and the High Priestess. [ Enter here your introduction].  Why is this important? It reorganizes the ego into practical behaviors and responses that are in alignment with this identity - an “identity” that lives in a much higher perception, possibly outside of time and duality. The ego becomes the bridge, the practical connector, that makes interaction possible here in the material. Symbology now becomes the new language of identity - it’s complex, defined but interpretable, it’s contextual, it’s intuitive and the mind can work with it, all at the same time. So how does all this connect to the need to be seen, heard, and understood?

I’ve tried to solve this need through many self-help methods, read enough books on communication and relationships to not want to do it anymore, just to arrive at nothing, in practical terms. In a way, it was even worse, because I had knowledge that created expectations and with it, bucketloads of judgment. They didn’t know how to communicate kindly and vulnerably, and I was going to educate them so we could come together and solve, and resolve, and understand, and live happily ever after. Except that, I didn’t see that I wasn’t even in the “correct” vibrational bandwidth on this one. It was like that quote “You’re not even wrong”, meaning, there was probability l could be correct within A context ... but in this one, I seemed to be trying to eat soup with a fork.

I thought I was changing the game whenever I tried something new, but it was the same game, on different parts of the board. The game only changed when I reframed the “how” into the “who”.

Which aspect of myself has that need?

I was asking the external to fulfill a very deep, personal need. I was holding others responsible to quench my thirst and acknowledge my existence. These are some very primal themes - existential - rooted very deep in the subconscious. We can chat about them, easily, but they turn slower, layer by layer.

When we can identify a much larger Self - with whatever symbol that tickles your imagination - our mind can now work with something. It can translate something very abstract and vast into useful thoughts, emotions, behaviors … responses. More so, it is self-reliant. It is autonomous. It is no longer dependent on the external to validate anything. It knows of its existence, it knows of its grandness and beauty and it’s no longer interested in giving and taking. Things ARE, and even if there’s some sharing, some inspiration, whatever type of exchange, the equal sign no longer does anything. The whole equation evaporated - the physics and chemistry is happening at the quantum level, between The Field and the cell, and no longer from environment to cell.

And so from this plane of vibration, when the need to be seen within an aspect of us rises, it becomes just that - only 1 aspect of the Self that’s still hurt, wounded, vibrating in separation from the larger being. The larger Self is not bothering with solving all these lonely parts, as fast as possible - it’s not registering as a “problem” to be solved! It doesn’t have judgment that it’s a lesser part than IT. That Self allows us to make the choices within our capacity to understand, within the capacity to process, and to experience a varied pallet of stuff. The larger the perception, the more space we have to experience variation. With more variation, the more conflicting frequencies and opposite whatevers to solve. That’s how we build resilience and efficiency at processing judgment and resolving seeming conflicts. And when we get to a place with both space and “CPU power”, the game changes. The “opponent” is no longer an opponent - it’s an unfair game at this point and you’re no longer interested in winning or solving it. You own the whole board! You’re actually starting to feel bored, uninterested in the experience of these specific vibrations. You’re no longer curious about how to solve it - who cares what the answer is, let’s go do something else, now! - is more so the feeling you’re stepping into.

The practical aspect of this understanding seems too simple. Maybe it comes off as dismissive or avoidant, but it’s not at all. The clarity and the choice within the awareness are so sharp that it’s more real than the 3D conflict itself. When you know you already exist and you ARE within what IS, having someone convince you of it, seems ridiculous. And yet, here you are, in a pattern of muck that started - if not by you fully, but subconsciously - with your agreed participation, because you, at some level, needed proof that you ARE. And that you ARE HERE, in the body, in material form, and moving about this time-space.

Can you feel it, already?

When that existential knowing takes root, you simply no longer want to participate in an energy that’s pulling and pushing at you with possible ideas that try to define you. Those forces are fighting for your core energy, to create, in their own imagination, something into this material existence. More so, they’re competing with each other, for you! Oh, you are seen and heard and understood and so loved, alright! But maybe not quite as you have hoped. So when the knowing kicks in, there’s a pause and all pulling and pushing stops. What is he/she going to do? And the answer is always so simple: nothing. Not just nothing, but nothing without explanation, without justification … simply nothing. It can only be nothing because all those energies involved in the game are so subpar You, so elementary, that they can’t hold your attention any longer. You’re so disinterested, so bored that Nothing feels more interesting. Nothing holds way more potential than staying and finishing the game. Naturally, your attention will be pulled towards the potential … the area of new creation, from the knowing of You.

So go create something new!
